Last year I went through 6 months of not knowing what was wrong with me. Symptoms included bloating (looking seven months pregnant) pain, confusion, slurring words & severe fatigue. I was constantly going to the doctor and various tests were run but nothing was showing. I went to A&E as well on a particular day as I couldn’t get my words out properly and struggled to put one foot in front of the other.
I was at the end of my tether with it all, emotional most days and then it was hard for me to do simple daily tasks. I would sleep most afternoons just trying to get a bit more energy to carry on that evening when the boys got home from school.
I then went for a follow-up appointment with the surgeon who carried out my breast reduction, I was so desperate that I asked him what he thought and went through the full story with him. He changed everything that day as he then referred me to his gastroenterologist colleague. My appointment finally came to see the gastroenterologist, turning up in one of my poorly states where he had done all his research on my history with the GPs and A&E visits. He felt my tummy and instantly diagnosed me with IBS-C…..yes that quickly.
The level of expertise and the bedside manner I received from this gastroenterologist was out of this world. To say I was emotional was an understatement. I then was booked in for an MRI which confirmed the IBS-C and it showed just how impacted I was. No wonder I had been feeling so awful, the amount of toxins swimming around my body really turns my stomach thinking about it now. I still wasn’t sure how I was going to get better as I didn’t want to take any laxatives or medication. So then the next part happened.
THE RECOVERY
In January this year, I was recommended to Michelle at Eternal Being. What I was hearing sounded just amazing and exactly what I was looking for.
Following our first consultation we discussed everything and already Michelle was giving out great advice.
I then went to her clinic and everything changed at this point. The first session was so emotional, learning to connect my brain to my gut etc. she then told me that I will one day be back to normal and she will get me there…….Wow!!!
Colonic hydrotherapy treatment is just unbelievable, definitely not painful just intense for me at times because of how backed up I was. I started with having sessions every week for 4 weeks and now I have them every 6 weeks. During the first sessions, I also had a gut analysis done which was sent off to Germany to be tested. It showed that I was really low EColi in my gut and this meant that proteins or any kind of nutrients were not being absorbed properly. To support my gut from this point and for the future, I am now taking lots of supplements which sure has helped in my recovery. Michelle also got me on strictly no yeast or sugar in my diet. All of these combined together have helped me look & feel the best I have felt in a very long time.
I just couldn’t recommend Michelle and her clinic enough. She is just so passionate about what she does and will always go above and beyond. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Michelle. I look forward to continuing this journey under your professional wing.
These are the jeans I couldn’t even get past my waist when I first came to you x
